i concur in the category "it takes one to know one"

my spanish presentation went well except for the slight whimper, a whimper amplified by the microphone present, that i let out prior to starting the presentation. english assignment handed in too. and what better way to celebrate it than by hunting for a new flat to move into. Tater Tot's been doing most of the work finding house listings but i joined in on Friday. potential apartment 1 was horrible, the agent didn't even make an effort to come meet us; potential apartment 2 was ok except its a pretty damn long walk for us (for non-lazy shits, the walk is perfectly acceptable) and potential apartment 3 was scary on the outside but pretty on the inside. so clean, so white and so much space. there are....walls separating kitchen, bedroom and living area! but that's our backup. we're waiting on a couple of other flats Tater Tot looked at on Thursday. apparently, when i come along house hunting, it renders the search fruitless.

then we watched Watchmen (i bet there are thousands of people who've written that out already, "watched Watchmen") and being someone who's unfamiliar with the characters, i was completely lost (i meant to read the graphic novel before the movie but i was completing my procrastinated work). the costumes were great though, i loved Silk Spectre 1's 1940s era costume, and it has that dark (but not as dark as 300 or Sin City) vibe about it which i usually love. but it was still a little bit too long and kinda flat at times. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is hot as The Comedian though. and Matthew Goode as Adrian Veidt. and Billy Crudup's sexed up body (which i don't know is really his or some fancy computer stuff). ok, fine, most of the guys are sexy (except Rorschach) but i don't think i'm gonna watch it a second time.

commence chicken and rice night!!
