finished stardust and now reading the russian affair by anton chekhov. "Chekhov's stories are of lost love, love at the wrong time and love that can never be." how fitting.
bought a shitload of books at borders and can now confirm that i will buy any book that has a carnival or ferris wheel on its cover. i really don't know why i'm so fascinated by them carnies. i think its because of my secret desire to be a trapeze artist. and the overall groolness of cirque du soleil.
had the best fried tempeh today. apparently its the expensive kind where its wrapped up in a banana leaf. even in the tempeh world there's hierarchy.
one of the kitties (presumably baby) has sneakily chewed on my ipod earphones and now i will have to forever live on wondering if that little bit of exposed wire could electrocute me.
still hoping we'll get another cat. i shall name him thor.
*edit* finished a russian affair and now reading true ghost stories from around the world. also not understanding why i'm doing this to myself because its 6 am and im scared shitless, looking side to side.

I just finished A Russian Affair; it's not too bad. The last story is really sad, to me anyway.
How good was Stardust anyway? I'm in love with Neil Gaiman now.
chekhov's descriptions of being dizzy in love is making me depressed. miraculously i finished stardust in 2 days. i bet i'll be disappointed by the movie though.
The movie's good, actually. They just made it a bit more happily-ever-after ; the ending is slightly different. Robert De Niro was excellent, you have to see it! The fact that Charlie Cox is all kinds of yummy also helps.
yeah i hate it when they change it to a more happily ever after ending! i want me a fairytale where the hobbit/gnome/fairy/princess/ogre dies in a gruesome manner. or goes bankrupt or something.
