smoke and mirrors

So I was really looking forward to seeing David Copperfield perform in KL, when I find out that the whole thing's been canceled due to him being under investigation by the FBI. It seems that some lady conjured up all these allegations of him sexually harassing (or was it rape?) her. Although I'm sure - with the vast monetary resources he has at his disposal - he could make the charges disappear, this whole episode leaves me rather disillusioned. Et tu, David?
